Avoid holding the smoke in your lungs. This doesn’t get you more stoned but will deposit more rubbish. Don’t inhale to deeply – there is no evidence that this gets you more stoned either.
Add less tobacco and think about replacing with herbal mixes.
Use plain cardboard as a roach, avoid plastic coated paper or cardboard.
Try vaping – this is a lot less harmful.
With edibles eat small amounts to start off with especially if this is something that you have bought and not made yourself.
Go slow and stay low.
Make sure you are with people that you trust. Although most people think that weed is a “soft” drug, it is still possible to have an unpleasant experience – paranoia, extreme anxiety and generally feeling uncomfortable in your own skin . Don’t be afraid to seek medical help or go to the welfare tent if you are worried about someone.
Avoid mixing with alcohol or other drugs. Combining cannabis with alcohol often leads to unwanted side effects such as dizziness, sweating, nausea and vomiting.
